WEkEO webinar at the Copernicus MOOC

On 14th May 2020, there will be a WEkEO webinar in the Copernicus MOOC! Do not miss the chance to watch the webinar and ask live your questions in the Q&A session.

The Copernicus MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) is a free online training that enables participants to understand how to use Earth Observation data to address societal challenges and generate new business opportunities. This course is open to everyone, at no cost.

The Copernicus MOOC has been developed by the University of Luxembourg Competence Centre and PwC for the European Commission.

The Copernicus MOOC is divided in the following chapters:

  1. Understand Copernicus data and services
  2. Learn from success stories
  3. Do it yourself

Each chapter includes 4 modules. You can watch the videos of each module here. The WEkEO webinar is part of the chapter 3 and the module 10, called Prototyping.

The WEkEO webinar starts at 5 pm (CET) and is expected to last 30 minutes. It will consist of a video presentation and a live Questions & Answers (Q&A) session, presented by Marta Bertran, from the WEkEO Support team.

After the WEkEO webinar, Siemon Smid (PwC) will present a Q&A session to address the questions from participants related to prototyping. Finally, Susan Vrona-Béjina (PwC) will present a demonstration about FaST prototyping.

Participants can follow the MOOC as a guest or register at https://mooc.copernicus.eu/login/index.php. For registered participants, their training activity will be tracked so that they can get a certificate at the end of the course.

The recording of both the webinar and the Q&A session will be available after the event.
