What is WEkEO?
WEkEO Data and Information Access Service (DIAS) provides harmonized and easy access to all Copernicus open data and services, along with cloud-based processing resources and tools.
WEkEO offers useful tools designed for all data professionals who need to incorporate environmental data into their research, business or projects, and run their own algorithms using the processing capabilities of the WEkEO cloud.

How to use WEkEO Jupyter Notebooks?
1. Find a notebook you are interested in among the Jupyter Catalogue. You can use the search bar and different filters to find a specific notebook.
2. Click on the notebook you are interested in. A short description and an overview of the notebook appears on the page.
3. Open the notebook in the WEkEO JupyterHub by clicking on the yellow button.
Don’t forget to login or create your WEkEO account to run the notebook in your JupyterHub.
Note: you also have the possibility to open the notebook on GitHub and download it.
4. Once the notebook is opened in WEkEO JupyterHub, choose one of the 2 servers:
Earth Observation Tools: designed with the simple purpose of visualizing some data and results.
- Machine Learning: data science oriented, mostly used to process your data and run more complex computation.
Press the Start button.
5. Your notebook is ready to use! You can run the code cells directly in the notebook thanks to a dedicated preinstalled environment (in WEkEO JupyterHub). All Jupyter Notebooks present in the Catalogue are available in the Public folder.
