On October 25th-26th a 2nd edition of the Copernicus Hackathon and Climathon will take place in two different locations in France: Toulouse and Bordeaux.
The Climathon is focused on climate change and is part of a global event that takes place in 120 cities worldwide.
- The Copernicus Hackathon promotes the use of satellite data to develop new applications and services related to Earth Observation.
The challenges to solve are related to the following topics: Climate and Health, New Climate Risks, Urban Heat Sources, Green Travel Routes, Urban Soft Mobility, among others. In order to find solutions to these challenges, participants can rely on the experience of climate and space experts as well as business coaches. This event is organized by Aerospace Valley, EIT Climate-KIC and EPITECH. As a partner of the Copernicus Hackathon & Climathon, WEkEO provides the access to the Copernicus data and cloud infrastructure for the participants.
